A parent says yes first
A parent creates the account from a verified email, adds their middle schooler and signs consent. Nothing unlocks until they do.
Volunteer-run · Online · North Carolina
High school band and orchestra players teach middle schoolers one-on-one over Google Meet — matched by instrument and level, with a parent’s OK before anything happens.

Free, always · Never recorded · Parent consent first
Example: a clarinet student’s answers are matched with a high school clarinet tutor who is free at the same time, and a Thursday lesson request is sent.

How it works
No auditions, no fees, no guesswork — a short questionnaire, a parent’s yes, and a tutor who plays your instrument.

01 · Sign up
A parent creates the account from a verified email, adds their middle schooler and signs consent. Nothing unlocks until they do.

02 · Match
Then level, schedule, goals and how you like to learn. A beginner gets someone who wants to teach beginners — not just whoever has played longest.

03 · Play
Request a time — or the same time every week. Lessons happen on Google Meet, and a parent is home or nearby the whole time.
See it before you sign up
A tutor profile and the Sunday email, laid out exactly like the real ones, with made-up people.
Real profiles unlock after a parent signs consent, so nobody can browse tutors, or be browsed, without a parent’s OK.
Safety & transparency
Everyone in a lesson is a minor, so the site itself enforces the rules. Phone numbers, emails, links, social apps and invitations to meet up never make it through.
Same rules the site enforces · Nothing you type is saved
Every lesson happens on Google Meet. There are no in-person meetings — not now, not ever.
We don't record lessons and never store video of minors. The site has no recording feature at all.
A parent or guardian must be home or nearby and reachable for the whole lesson. They don't have to sit in.
Parents create students' accounts from an email address we verify, and sign consent before anything unlocks. Students can't make accounts on their own.
Phone numbers, emails, links, and social apps are blocked, our own software checks every message for safety concerns, and a parent can read every conversation.
Any report — from a student, a parent, or our safety scanner — goes straight to the program team. A safety report pauses the tutor immediately.
Why families trust it
Consent, the message rules, when the lesson link opens and how hours get checked are built into the site itself. Nobody can skip them, us included.
Built into the site, not just written in a policy

For high school tutors
Teach the instrument you love on your own schedule. Every hour is logged by you, confirmed by the family and reviewed by our nonprofit partner, so your record holds up.
Questions
Ready when you are
A parent’s sign-up takes about five minutes. Students get matched with a tutor; tutors get a real way to give back with the thing they’re best at.
